The division, made of more than 100 employees and managers, provides services to AL-MUSANADAH’s marketing and sales divisions, distribution customers, and institutional and private customers.
Import and Purchase
The Import and Purchase Department manages the company’s entire import system. The products are delivered by air, sea and land transport. Import and purchase coordinators are involved in the entire process: from assigning purchase requisitions to suppliers to stocking.The import coordinators manage each delivery according to the terms of sale and the chosen shipping method, all the while maintaining temperature conditions in accordance with the GDP Guidelines. When the goods arrive in Yemen, the import coordinators ensure they receive clearance from customs and local regulatory authorities, including the issuance of standards. After the goods are released, the department is responsible for coordinating deliveries to the Company’s warehouses and supervising the stocking process.
Warehouse System
Our warehouse system is based on the most advanced technology available in the field of logistics and includes WMS systems and automated information gathering systems. Each year, our system receives more than 20 shipping containers and 6 air shipments. The warehouse system is divided into two warehouses, a medicine storehouse (that can store products with a temperature of -80⁰C or higher) and a medical equipment warehouse. The warehouses’ storage capacity is over 1000 pallets and their temperatures and humidity levels are monitored. The warehouses are also supervised by a pharmacist, meet the GMP standard, and are approved by the Yemeni Ministry of Health.
Distribution System
Our distribution system is composed of two main area of expertise: pharmaceutics and Disposables appliances. The pharmaceutical system includes a fleet of temperature-controlled road trucks and vehicles that travel across the country every morning. We visit every medical institution in Yemen, be it private or public, at least 1 time a week.
Our system meets the most advanced standards and regulations, including GMP and GDP. Our vehicles also have a GPS tracking system designed to continuously monitor all vehicles. In the field of Disposables appliances, we visit hundreds of stores every week across Yemen.
Customers Service
Our customer service system provides service to thousands of customers from the Medical Services Division, the Pharma and Healthcare Products Division, and the Disposables appliances Division. In addition to our customer service representatives, our customer service system also includes a digital ordering system and Computer System Interfaces that provide added value to our customers such as placing orders at their convenience, inventory status, order history, various reports and more.
Quality Assurance
As a company whose quality is part of its mission and principles, we place great emphasis on Quality Assurance in its various aspects.The Quality Assurance Department is responsible for planning, directing and coordinating quality assurance programs and the formulation of quality control policies. The company aim is to be fully compliant with GMP, GDP and ISO guidelines.
